What we collect and why

Email

If you contact us by email, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, organisation, email address and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, the steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

Our email is hosted by Microsoft 365, which processes it in accordance with Microsoft's published terms.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not track visitors across sites. It records aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country and browser type.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and request headers in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and no local storage of its own. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

How long we keep data

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to two years afterwards, unless they lead to a contract, in which case client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for six years after it ends to meet accounting and legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the processors named above, with professional advisers where necessary, and where the law requires.

International transfers

Our processors may store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy regulation.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, our use of it;
• ask for it in a portable format where it was provided by you and processed by automated means.
